HMSO antique wooden ammo crate storage box

A highly unusual antique wooden ammo crate, being embossed with the letters HMSO ( Her Majesty’s Stationary Office) insignia denoting it for use within her majesty service. The box is painted in black which has a crackled patina look, it has large wood side carry handles, lock and hasp and a clean interior. The storage trunk has had a long history with the initials T A Parry South Wales painted on the top.
